The IOM3 Women in Materials, Minerals & Mining Group (WIM3) was established in 2012 to provide a focus for women members within IOM3 and help support them in their careers. Since then, WIM3 has organised a series of successful events around the UK that have attracted women members at all stages of their careers and provided valuable networking opportunities for women. We regularly organise a networking event to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) on 23 June each year.
WIM3 is committed to increasing female participation in IOM3 governance, events and activities and to attracting more women into our profession at all levels.
