Talk description: The talk will focus on how addressing the use of materials must be at the heart of tackling global carbon emissions. Moving towards a circular economy can help, along with industrial symbiosis. But how can we move to a position where we only use our fair share of the world’s materials? Andy will explain the steps the Welsh Government is planning to take under its circular economy strategy, ‘Beyond Recycling’ and its new Net Zero Wales plan.
