The International Clay Technology Association was founded in 2006 from a merger between the Institute of Clay Technology and IOM3. We promote heavy clay technology on a UK and international basis and help members broaden their professional outlook, skills and qualifications.

Courses to support professional development in the Heavy Clay Industry

IOM3 Training Academy offers courses that are suitable for those just starting out in the industry, those wishing to develop their learning further and those needing to undertake regular training to maintain their CPD record.  Our courses are available in a number of formats and some lead to recognised qualifications from PIABC. Our tutors are experts from the heavy clay industry and, along with us, they will support you throughout your learning journey.

Sustainable Future

As part of its commitment to helping build momentum for COP 26, throughout 2021 IOM3 is organising a series of virtual events, podcasts and editorial content on the theme of ‘Sustainable Future’. COP 26 is the 26th United Nations Climate Change conference scheduled to be held in Glasgow, Scotland, in November 2021. Keep an eye out for our Sustainable Future tag.
