This has to take into account that transition into a net-zero emission energy industry is a timely journey covering challenges not only in technical terms but also in management, social responsibility, biodiversity, risk and economical value chain. This will require a multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve a sustainable energy industry through implementation of a comprehensive strategic outlook.

IOM3, through the Technical Community groups in this space, working with the Strategic Advisor (Energy), can assist in expediting this process, leveraging existing infrastructure and know-how and adopting best practice across all energy sectors both in the UK and further afield for best lessons-learned scenarios.
