During Neurodiversity Celebration Week build your awareness to support yourself and others to thrive.

Did you know that 1 in 7 people worldwide are considered to be neurodiverse, and that there are around 820,000 neurodiverse engineers working in the UK?

Like all members of our engineering community, you’ll want to ensure you have everything you need to be successful, in both your personal and professional life. If you have been diagnosed as neurodivergent, or believe you may have a neurodiverse condition, you might feel you’re being held back from reaching your full potential.

Whether neurodivergent or neurotypical, the Benevolent Fund from The Institution of Engineering and Technology – Foothold, want to build a world where every member of the engineering community has the opportunity to make the most of their unique talents and capabilities.

The Differently Wired Hub is a free online resource that’s available to every member of the engineering community. In the hub you’ll find expert advice, information and content on a range of neurodiverse conditions – including ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and Tourette’s syndrome – as well as guidance and tips on how to best support neurodiverse people to reach their full potential.
