Success for IOM3 members and staff at 2025 Women in Packaging Excellence Awards
Seventeen IOM3 Members were nominated for the Awards.
The Women in Packaging Excellence Awards recognise the achievements of women in the packaging industry. This year, 17 IOM3 members were nominated for their contributions spanning packaging operations, branding, retail and more.
We're proud to recognise all those nominated, and to celebrate our winners:
- Jude Allan MIMMM, Chair of the IOM3 Packaging Group and Interim MD, OPRL, won the Most Inspiring Returner of the Year award
- Diane Aston FIMMM, Head of Education & Professional Development, Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, was Highly Commended as Inspirational Mentor in Packaging - Commercial, Strategic & Creative and for the Lifetime Achievement Award
- Laura Fernandez FIMMM, Senior Packaging and Sustainability Manager, Ocado Retail, was Highly Commended as Sustainable Packaging Innovator
- Alexandra Burgess, Technical Applications Manager - MFPD, Coveris, won the Innovative Materials Leader award
- Victoria Whyley FIMMM, Packaging Manager, Aldi, was Highly Commended as Inspirational Mentor in Packaging - Technical & Operational
- Denise Mathieson FIMMM, Head of Packaging, Design & Programme Delivery, Waitrose & Partners, won the Lifetime Achievement Award
- Abigail Sawyer-Parker, Product Development Engineer, ProAmpac was Highly Commended as a Rising Star in Packaging
- Angela Morris MIMMM, CEO & Founder, Woolcool won Woman of the Year - Retailers & Manufacturers
