PVC conference moves to Edinburgh for 2020 event
The triennial PVC conference will re-locate from its historic Brighton base for the next edition, which will take place on 20-23 April 2020.
Organisers, the IOM3 Polymer Society, say after careful consideration, we have decided to move the venue to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), to support the growth of the event.
Situated in the heart of Scotland’s beautiful capital city, the new venue offers adaptable space, spacious exhibition and reception areas and high quality IT/technology infrastructure.
Geoff Barnett, PVC 2020 spokesperson, explained:
‘The EICC is a purpose-built conference facility, with great transport links, and is perfectly suited to enable us to deliver an improved conference experience for our delegates. The committee feel this, and the opportunities offered by holding the conference in the city of Edinburgh, will enable us to deliver an outstanding conference.’
‘PVC 2020 promises to deliver a comprehensive and varied technical programme of high quality speakers, original international papers along with multiple networking opportunities. It is our aim for this to be the best and most successful PVC conference ever.’
PVC 2020 is organised by IOM Communications Ltd on behalf of the Polymer Society of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
