RIEG committee meeting 19 March 2021

For the last year the RIEG committee has been running its planning meetings online. Today (19 March) we nearly had a full house with 21 of us on the call (two more joined but had broken cameras). We planned our next three webinars,  the first on 18 June on Elastomers Used in Infrastructure, the second on 17 September on Elastomer use in Additive Manufacture and the third on 10 December on Elastomer use in Acoustic Applications.

View on demand: Elastomer Use in Sustainable Energy Generation

This afternoon technical discussion meeting (ATDM) examined the use of advanced elastomer materials in sustainable energy generation. The demand for low carbon emitting energy technologies is rising, creating new technical challenges for elastomer materials that must be overcome to meet emissions targets.
