The March NEIMME Lecture will be given by Prof Martyn Dade-Robertson from Newcastle University on 'Living Construction'.

Martyn will introduce the work of the Living Construction Group at the Hub for Biotechnology in Newcastle. The group is exploring how bio-mineralisers and bio-polymers could be used to 'grow' the buildings of the future, and how other bio-materials can be used to improve our built environment and in other areas of engineering as well.
