Our next Rubber In Engineering Group (RIEG) webinar is planned for 17th September 2021 from 13:30 (UK time) on the topic of Elastomers Used in Additive Manufacturing championed by Dr Khai Nguyen (Puraffinity).
This free webinar will focus on the use of elastomers and elastomeric-like materials in additive manufacturing. The talks will discuss the latest developments of 3D printable elastomer systems, printing technologies and products that have been achieved using this modern manufacturing approach.
The confirmed speaker programme includes:
• Dr Sarah Karmel (Rheon Labs) - The challenges and solutions associated with 3D printable elastomers
• Chiara Da San Martino (Queen Mary University of London) - Extrusion-based 3D printing of novel silicone elastomers with advanced properties
• Ryan Flattery (NinjaTek & Fenner Precision Polymers) - The Versatility of 3D Printed TPU: current uses and future directions
• Robert Young (Photocentric) - Visible light photo-polymerisation of elastomers
You can find out more information about each topic and register by visiting the event website. This event is free to attend due to the generous sponsorship of the RIEG programme by ACE, ARTIS, Birch Chemicals, Endurica & Zeon.
Our previous RIEG webinar from June was on the topic of Elastomers Used in Infrastructure. You can review the presentations on the RIEG event website.
Our next RIEG webinar will be on the 10th December 2021 and the topic will be on Elastomers used in High Frequency Applications. If you are interested in presenting at the event please contact the event champion: Dr Roly Whear (Jaguar LandRover) or Merryn Hobbs (Trelleborg)
