AM3PS 2017 - Additive Manufactured Metallic Materials Properties & Structures
Organised by IOM Communications Ltd on behalf of the Structure and Properties of Materials Committee of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining
The fabrication of components by the additive manufacturing technique which enabled components to be produced without dies or substantial, machining, with reduced lead time, materials waste and cost has already established itself in a number of applications. Current studies have shown that the number of components produced by this technique is predicted to grow substantially over the next decade especially in the fabrication of metallic components. The microstructure produced in a component material by this manufacturing route is of vital importance in producing a product that is as good as or even superior to that fabricated by conventional means.
The deadline of submission for consideration for posters has been extended to Friday 7 April 2017
