Stuart Johnson - Director of Ecology, Ecosurv Ltd

 

Stuart will speak about the challenges and opportunities surrounding the ecology and wildlife to be found in UK quarries and their impact on the quarry operator.

His talk will focus on four main areas:

- The problems of ecology and biodiversity in quarries

- Mitigating the effects of ecology and biodiversity

- Promotion of ecology and biodiversity

- Restoration of ecology and biodiversity post exhaustion of quarry.

 

The meeting will be videocast to the ICTa Notts & Derby and North Staff.
