Welcome to the Polymer Society

The Polymer Society exists to support the polymer and elastomer supply chain by providing a focus for the exchange of knowledge on all aspects of production, processing and applications. The Society's interests cover all technical, educational and professional considerations relating to polymers and elastomers where their content is significant in the application. In this vein you may also be interested in the attached image (courtesy of Victrex plc) which depicts the use of PEEK (polyaryletherketone) as a bearing cage.

Can we also direct your attention to our report on our major conference this year – PVC 2011 and the afternoon technical discussion meetings organised by The Rubber in Engineering Group

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome as to how we can improve the content of this website and add value to your membership. Read our mission statement.
