Into the Woods - V&A Exhibition
If you are in London with a little time to spare, and you like trees, then pop into the V&A. The current small exhibition of "Trees in Photography" is well worth a visit.
Of particular interest to the writer is the cabinet display of photographs dated 1901 of tree trunks, that were originally used by art students to practice line drawing, but for the wood specialist they show the diverse nature of bark and of tree recognition.
This exhibition ends on Sunday 22nd April, 2018.
