UK Government release report on COP26 presidency outcomes

The cabinet office released a COP26 presidency outcomes report at the end of November.

The COP26 presidency outcomes report details the progress made to tackle emissions, mobilise finance and help those impacted by climate change under the UK's COP26 Presidency.

The report outcomes include that COP26 was the biggest ever representation from countries, civil society, Indigenous Peoples, youth, and business.

As a result of COP26 90% of world economy is now covered by a net zero target (up from 30% in 2019).

Also, 95% of major donors increased their climate finance pledges, with a delivery plan that shows $100bn/yr goal to be met in 2023.
