Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering opens for 2027 nominations
The £500,000 prize is awarded to up to 10 engineers responsible for a 'bold, ground-breaking engineering innovation of global benefit to humanity'.
The QEPrize seeks nominations from the public for engineering innovations across all sectors of the profession.
Entry to the prize is open to any living individual (or up to 10 individuals) of any nationality who are personally responsible for a groundbreaking innovation in engineering which has been of benefit to humanity.
- The closing date to submit your nomination(s) is 26 June 2026
- The deadline for referees to submit supporting statements is 26 July 2026
- The winner(s) of the QEPrize will be announced on 2 February 2027 and further details will be released closer to the time
