Katie Burkell

Senior Product Manager, Cambio Earth Systems, BGC

Katie joined BGC in 2016 and worked on a variety of projects, including pipeline geohazard management (field inspections), construction monitoring, flood monitoring, and hydrotechnical design for pieline watercourse crossings. She is now a Senior Product Manager and focuses on translating project needs into practical digital workflows - with a focus on the Cambio for Mining and Platform products. 

Rob McEwan

Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, KorrAI

Rob began as a geologist in the mine operations and exploration sectors, before transitioning to data science and predictive modelling in precision agriculture. He founded KorrAI in 2020.

At KorrAI, Rob led the development of the company's cloud-based InSAR processing engine, then drove the technical design and implementation of the field calibration systems that pair satellite ground motion data with in-situ geotechnical IoT sensors. Most recently, he led the development of the agentic framework that brings surveillance, operational context, and engineering judgement together into a workspace built for geotechnical teams.

Rob holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Earth Sciences from Dalhousie University and an Advanced Diploma in Remote Sensing from NSCC's Centre of Geographic Sciences.
