Consultation on nuclear decommissioning open

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) has opened up for consultations on a draft business plan that sets out what the main activities will be to advance the clean-up and decommissioning work over the next 3 years, and what funding will be available for them.

It also highlights some of the other essential work for mission-critical activities.

The NDA says they want to hear from anyone who has a comment on any aspect of this document.

In your response, you will be asked to say whether you are replying as an individual or representing the views of an organisation and in case you’re acting on behalf of an organisation, state its name and, if applicable, how you gathered the views of its members.

When looking at the responses, the NDA will give greater consideration to those that are based on evidence, rather than personal expressions of support or opposition. You can respond by letter or email

This consultation started on 6 December 2021 and will end on 31 January 2022.
