    Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us at the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. Our offices will close for the Christmas break at 5pm on Friday 21 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2019.
  • Technology Communities Board invites nominations

    The IOM3 Managing Board recently approved the restructure of the Industry & Technology Policy Board by creating a new Technical Communities Board (TCB). Nominations are now being sought for the role of Strategic Advisors on the TCB. This voluntary role is open to any member of the Institute. Members can request a full prospectus which sets out the ethos behind the change and includes both the job description and Terms of Reference.

    Due to high demand for this event, we have changed the venue to Cavendish Conference Centre, London W1G 9DT. This beautiful venue is only a 5 minute walk from Oxford Street Station and a 10 minute walk from our offices at Euston Road. We hope you will join us for this one day of presentations covering metallic, polymeric and refractory materials from industry leads, tier suppliers and end users embracing Industry 4.0 in their respective territories.
