What is Starpack?
The objective of the Starpack Awards Scheme is to promote the best practice relative to packaging design, recognising:
INNOVATION in design, construction, manufacturing and materials technology
GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL CREDENTIALS relating to material usage, manufacturing and at the end of packaging life cycle, eg re-use, recycling or recovery.
CHAMPION THE NEEDS of the CONSUMER in relationship to the functionality of packaging throughout its life cycle and minimising product waste.

The Starpack Awards are organised by IOM Communications Ltd and endorsed by The Packaging Society, a division of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3).

Online registration for the 2016 awards is now open. The deadline for entries is 8 July 2016.
Winners of the Starpack Industry Awards 2015 were announced at the Starpack Awards ceremony on 10 September at the National Space Centre in Leicester. Winners of Schools and Student Starpack were also presented with their awards at this event.
Starpack Industry Award winners are eligible to enter the prestigious WorldStar Awards. This awards scheme is run by the World Packaging Organisation. The closing date for the 2016 WorldStar awards is 18 September 2016, unless your national award scheme has not completed its judging by that date. WorldStar Awards information
