Organised by IOM Communications on behalf of the British Composites Society
In July 2018 the University of Nottingham, in association with the EPSRC Future Composites Manufacturing Research Hub, welcomes the 11th International Conference on Manufacturing of Advanced Composites. The conference is being organised on behalf of the British Composites Society (one of the technical divisions of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining), which aims to provide a single authoritative voice for individuals who are practising science and engineering within the field of composites.
ICMAC 2018 will provide a forum for both academic and industrial delegates to share ideas and approaches and showcase world-leading manufacturing research for advanced composites, recognising and responding to industry needs.
The conference will offer a mix of keynote papers presented by internationally renowned experts and presentations chosen from peer-reviewed abstracts, all of which will cover a diverse range of industry sectors.
Abstracts may be submitted around five major themes:
1. High rate deposition and rapid processing technologies
2. Design for manufacture via validated simulation
3. Manufacturing for multifunctional composites and integrated structures
4. Inspection and in-process evaluation
5. Recycling, waste reduction, and re-use
Abstracts should be up to a maximum of 3 pages of A4, including references and up to 2 figures.
Deadline for abstracts: 28th February 2018
