Materials Matter @ Rolls-Royce plc
One-day, free conference for schools in Derby on 15 March 2024
We are delighted to be returning to Rolls-Royce plc in Derby for our first Materials Matter event of 2024. This unique one-day conference which is open to groups of year 12 students, and their teacher(s), will take place on 15 March 2024.
The content of the day is linked to the A-level science and D&T curricula and will help to bring some challenging concepts to life and attendees will have a chance to learn more about how materials are used at Rolls-Royce and hear from people in the early stages of their careers.
Schools are invited to bring a team of seven year 12 students with an interest in STEM, accompanied by a member of staff. Places are limited and they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis to schools submitting a completed registration form.
