Scale-up pilot to help UK firms announced
Scale UK Connect will advise and connect UK businesses with international opportunities.
The 18-month national pilot aims to scale up 200 high-growth UK firms by attracting international investment and helping them reach new customers.
Recruitment for the pilot runs until January 2027, with the cohort launching in February 2027. Firms will get a year of support and a final report is due in April 2028.
The package hopes to address practical barriers founders and high-growth firms continue to face, including finding customers, accessing capital, attracting exceptional talent and navigating government.
The programme is run by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, alongside London & Partners, TechSPARK in the South West, Tech SY in Yorkshire and Pathways Forward in Scotland.
