The plan includes a 3.2km tunnel underneath the World Heritage Site closely following the existing A303 route. The controversial scheme has been waiting for a decision on the Development Consent Order (DCO), after it was delayed following an archaeological find within the World Heritage Site earlier this year.

Other applications remain open.
