The Challenge is looking for SMEs that are at a demonstrator stage of development. The Faraday Battery Challenge Investment Readiness Programme 2022 is co-led by Innovate UK KTN and is designed for the electric vehicle battery sector.

Every single SME in the 2021 cohort has seen a positive outcome from investment to partnership opportunities and the team is confident 2022’s Programme will be just as successful.

Organisation requirements are

  • Organisations active in batteries for electric vehicle propulsion (automotive and beyond, excluding stationary storage)
  • Organisations across the battery value chain (including cell materials and components, cells, modules and packs, recycling & enabling technologies)
  • The programme is open to new participants only. If you have participated in the Faraday Battery Challenge Investment Readiness Programme 2021 you will not be eligible to re-apply.

Applications will open in mid-January, join the launch webinar on 24 January 2022 and a live Q&A. Further information to be released on this page.
