European plastic stakeholders unite on Life Cycle Assessment
The Engineering Polymer Shapes for Machining Association hopes to establish clarity across Europe.

The Association is a sector group of the European Plastics Converters (EuPC).
It hopes its unified framework for conducting Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) will help the transition to more sustainable production and procurement practices, while reinforcing the credibility of technical plastic stock shapes.
Consistency in LCA is said to ensure that measurements and comparison of a product’s environmental performance are fairer and more transparent.
The group consists of Ensinger GmbH, GEHR, Licharz GmbH, Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials, Röchling Industrial, and Zell Materials GmbH Engineering Plastics.
