The drilling, completed in October 2020, has intersected what Alba believes to be the westerly extension to the Clogau Main Lode. The Main Lode is the source of most of the historic gold production at the mine.

Seven drill holes were completes and all seven intersected quartz veining, the known geological setting of all historic gold production at the Clogau Mine. Gold assays were significant.

Alba intends to undertake infill drilling from surface early in the new year, followed by phase two of an underground drilling programme in Q2 of 2021, both being aimed at confirming the continuity of this Main Lode extension.
