In Japan, we are developing automotive materials derived from locally sourced forest resources and applying them to vehicle components. Our project culminates in the creation of a concept vehicle that is certified for use on public roads, demonstrating that sustainable materials can be integrated into real-world mobility. This presentation will introduce our approach to connecting sustainable forest management with the automotive industry and discuss the potential of forest resources to contribute to a circular and carbon-neutral society.
