The Counting House on Cornhill and Virtually

NEWFLASH : Mr. Paul Atherley (Chairman and Founding Director of LSE-listed Pensana Plc and of Tees Valley Lithium Ltd.) will be presenting in person at MinSouth's yearly Prestige Lecture at The Counting House on Cornhill in London on June 8, 2023.
Tickets to attend in person or virtually are available for this lecture at this link -
www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/649627171357
Pensana is developing one of the world’s largest Rare Earth deposits vital for electric vehicles, wind turbines, and other strategic industries and is looking to establish a separation facility at the Saltend Chemical Park, Humber UK.
Tees Valley Lithium has planning approval for Europe’s Lithium Refinery at the Wilton International Chemicals Park Teesside UK.
Mr. Atherley is an experienced resources executive and a strong supporter of women in STEM.
This will be the last opportunity for MinSouth ... or any other organisation in fact ... to be able to hold a meeting in the prestigous surroundings of the Griffin Room due to refurbishment and plans for change of use.

Mining Sundowner socials

MinSouth's early evening socials started in the 1970s and continue to be held regularly as a Mining Sundowner on the last Thursday of each month (except December) at a venue in the West End. For a number of years Emma Priestley organised the event; she passed the baton on to Liv Carroll in 2007. Liv has been a MinSouth committee member since 2004, was President for 2008-2009 session and is also a long standing committee member of the IOM3 Applied Earth Science Division.
