Works Visit - Element Mechanical Testing Facility
The Sheffield Metallurgical & Engineering Association (SMEA) are pleased to announce the details of Works Visit - Element Mechanical Testing Facility on Tuesday 20th May
The SMEA Works Visit this year has been arranged to look at the Element testing facility in Rotherham. The site has a wide range of mechanical testing, chemical analysis and non-destructive testing equipment. It is located next to the Magna Building. The post code is S60 1FD.
Visit: After an initial introduction to the Element company we will split into two groups. They will then be shown separately around the testing areas and the NDT building. After this the groups will swap and see the other half of the facilities.
Registration: To keep things manageable the visit will be limited to 20. So if you wish to take part please register quickly as numbers are expected to fill up rapidly.
