NMA Lunchtime Seminars: Focus on Natural Materials for Packaging

You are invited to join us for our monthly virtual event where we will focus on natural materials for packaging. This event will explore how natural materials can be used to create more sustainable packaging and the challenges of commercialising these materials.

You will hear from:

  • Josie Morris, Managing Director, The Wool Packaging Company Limited aka WoolCool on the commercialisation of natural materials
  • Annalise Matthews, Waste Management Consultant, Vegware Ltd on closing the loop with Vegware compostable packaging
  • Nick Kirby, Chief Executive, Swanline Group on a new corrugated packaging plant, its sustainability and circular economy credentials
  • Tracy White, Head of Science, CuanTec Ltd on the use of chitin in packaging

The interactive seminar will also provide the opportunity for Question and Answers and we often hang around at the end for a fun and engaging panel session.

What is the NMA?

The Natural Materials Association (NMA) is the first UK body to represent the breadth of natural materials and its primary objective is to raise awareness of innovative uses of natural materials, develop a knowledge exchange between materials scientists, product designers and those in industry and education.

If you are interested, want to learn about natural materials and get to know some NMA members, why not register for the event?
