Elemental analysis in SEM

The South Wales Materials Association (SWMA) is pleased to announce their first meeting of 2024 which will be delilvered by Dr Thomas Dunlop on 15 February on the topic of elemental analysis in scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

This session will explore elemental analysis within Scanning Electron Microscopy. This includes both Elemental and Wavelength Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS and WDS), covering basic principles, how they work and when you might want to use the specific techniques for your R&D processes. There will also be plenty of time for questions and experimental planning.

This session will be an hour long with refreshments provided and is opened to anyone (UG, PGR, academic and industrial) with an interest in the technique.

Brought to you by the AIM Core Facility at Swansea University and SWMA.
