Circular Economy
Recognising good practice and innovation towards a more circular economy.
Celebrating our heroes who are advancing the transition to a low-carbon, resource efficient society
The IOM3 Sustainable Future Awards are uniquely dedicated to recognise, celebrate and encourage the pioneers who are developing and transitioning methods of practice to achieve sustainability, EDI and championing the need for greater circularity in the extraction, processing and use of natural resources.
Adjudicated by an independent panel of experts to ensure finalists and winners meet a high benchmark of achievement, the awards culminate in a presentation ceremony in London.
The awards will provide a platform for knowledge exchange to promote a sustainable future and offer the opportunity for companies and organisations which have a proven delivery of projects to showcase on the ground developments in practice. The awards focus on four categories.
The awards are open to individuals, teams and organisations from across the globe operating within the materials cycle.
2024 awards are now open for entry via the category section below.

Now more than ever before, the role of the materials, minerals and mining communities is fundamental to the future direction of our society as we address the impact of climate change, plastic pollution and biodiversity loss, and make the transition to a low-carbon, resource-efficient future. The work of IOM3 members is changing to meet these challenges, from the materials to build a renewable energy infrastructure, to the mines producing the minerals necessary for the move to electric transport. Without a doubt, now is one of the most exciting and rewarding times to be part of these communities.
