Volvo Group to set up its own mining entity
Volvo Mining will sell trucks, construction equipment and autonomous solutions to mining customers and their contractors.
The Swedish company will drive product and service portfolio management for the group's mining segment through Volvo Mining.
The new entity will be launched on 1 January 2027, initially in Sweden, Norway and Finland, with the ambition for phased expansion into additional markets.
Volvo Mining will also take on a coordinating role in the various research projects across the Group.
