IOM3 appoints new Trustee to Executive Board
IOM3 is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Alexander Norori-McCormac CEng CSci MIMMM as a Trustee
Dr Norori-McCormac has been appointed as a co-opted Trustee for a period of one year. His background is in geology, mineral processing and environmental practice. As an educator he directs the MSc in Global Management of Natural Resources: complex industries including the mining and oil and gas sectors at University College, London.
Alexander says 'I’m both delighted and honoured to have been appointed as a Trustee at this thrilling time for the resources sector. The accelerating transition to a society underpinned by minerals and metals needs to be met with the advancement of processes and technologies in their extraction and refinement. We also need a renewed focus on education, increasing both interest and participation in studies in the production of these resources. These actions will help improve the sustainability of the industry.
