Industrial Energy Transformation stakeholder clinics announced

The UK's Industrial Energy Transformation Fund is holding a series of stakeholder clinics to help businesses interested in applying for a grant.

Stakeholder clinics, a technology showcase and a virtual marketplace is being held by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) for the Spring 2024, Phase 3 window of this funding competition.

The Industrial Energy Transformation Fund is holding a technology showcase on 21 March to showcase some of the projects it is funding. Thei new virtual technology marketplace is also live and available for businesses to register.

Companies in England, Wales and Northern Ireland can now bid for part of the £185mln in grant funding through the Phase 3: Spring 2024 window, which is open until Friday 19 April 2024.

Grant funding is available for feasibility and engineering studies, energy-efficient deployment projects and deep decarbonisation deployment projects.

Previous grant funding winners have spoken before on how they have utilised the funding at previous technology showcase events.

DESNZ say the stakeholder clinics help businesses planning on bidding for Phase 3 funding by helping them speak directly to DESNZ and ask questions around potential bids, scope for the competitions, eligiblity criteria and how to apply for funding, the IETF support and information services.

The clinics are running fortnightly and start on the 5 and 19 March.
