High temperature testing with HotPIP
Exploring a new technique for gathering mechanical property data at elevated temperatures | INFORM on demand
This session introduces Plastometrex’s novel mechanical testing technology that extracts tensile stress-strain curves from metals via a rapid indentation test. A particular focus will be given to the upcoming launch of a high temperature variant (HotPIP). This system will unlock the ability to carry out fast and affordable measurement of metal stress-strain curves at high temperatures on small volumes of material for the first time.
Who is the Webinar aimed at?
Academic researchers involved in metallurgy, mechanical testing, additive manufacturing, and testing. The webinar will also be of interest to industrialists with the same interests - common job titles including – metallurgist, engineering manager, head of testing, metallurgical engineer, engineer, materials scientist, head of materials, head of R&D, R&D metallurgist etc. Industries of interest include additive maufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, defense, primary metals.
