Festive season greetings from the IOM3 President
As the festive season approaches, our President shares warm wishes and reflections on the year past, and looks forward to the year ahead.
The following message is from our President, Christine Blackmore CEnv CSci FIMMM.
'As we approach the festive season, I would like to offer my very best wishes to all our members, volunteers, staff and wider community. This is a time when many of us gather with family, friends and colleagues, and that spirit of coming together feels especially meaningful this year.
Throughout the past twelve months, I have been honoured to serve the Institute. It has been a demanding period for our sectors, but the strength of the IOM3 community has been remarkable. Our ability to come together across disciplines, backgrounds and experiences—supporting one another, sharing knowledge and upholding our values—has made a genuine difference.
I want to express my sincere appreciation to our dedicated staff and to the many volunteers who give so much of their time. Your commitment to excellence, professionalism and continual improvement, including our ongoing focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, has shaped the Institute’s achievements and will continue to drive us forward.
As we look to the year ahead, I know we will face further challenges. But I am equally confident that, by working together, we will continue to advance our mission, strengthen our community and support the next generation of materials, minerals and mining professionals.
