Discover Materials

An inter-University intiative sharing Materials Science and Engineering with young people, their families and teachers across the UK

Discover Materials has been set up to provide young people, their parents/carers and teachers with opportunities to find out more about Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) and promote courses in MSE in higher education.  The Discover Materials Ambassadors take part in STEM events around the UK and are available to visit schools to provide enrichment sessions.

The Discover Materials group is a working group from ten UK universities who aim to raise the profile of Materials Science and Engineering as both a career and degree choice.
