Changes at the Science Council

Helen Gordon, Chief Executive of the Science Council, has announced her plans to leave the organisation at the end of August 2023.

Gordon will pursue roles as a non-executive director and an executive coach.

She says, ‘I am enormously proud of what we have achieved together so far for Members, registrants and the wider science community. We still have much to do to deliver on our strategy but Members can be assured of my commitment to that over the coming months. I want to ensure there is a continuity of leadership, so I have shared my plans at this stage to give the board adequate time to recruit and to ensure a smooth transition.’
