Call for contribution on 'Why Space' paper
The Satellite Applications Catapult is requesting contributions from materials researchers and developers on the opportunity of space environment/exploration.
The Henry Royce Institute Technology Platform Lead, Dr Marcos Domingos, is working with The Science and Technology Facilities Council, UK Research and Innovation, and other colleagues on contributions for a Satellite Applications Position Paper Why Space? The opportunity for Materials Science and Innovation.
The output will be a cohesive case to educate funders on discovery and applied level research through space, as well as support form industry leaders.
Contributions do not need to be from those in the space sector as the focus is on the opportunity from the materials community as a whole.
