Advanced ceramics poster competition to be held in June 2023

The Midlands Industrial Ceramics Group (MICG) are hosting a poster competition at the NEC, Birmingham, UK in June 2023.

As part of the £18.27mln government funding the MICG received through the UKRI’s Strength in Places Fund (SIPF), the poster competition will take place at the Advanced Ceramics Show.

The topics mirror the themes of the show, which are process innovation, additive manufacturing, delivering net-zero, and ceramics for extreme environments, sensors, artificial intelligence and modelling for the ceramics sector.

The deadline for abstract submissions is 28 April, confirmations will be issued on 12 May and the posters will be shown on the first day of the show. The activity is in line with the SIPF’s programme covering education, skills and diversity, with prizes presented to the winners.

The Advanced Ceramics Show, which is co-located with The Advanced Materials Show, Battery Cells & Systems Expo and Vehicle Electrification Expo, will take place on 28-29 June.
