We are delighted to be working with Sandra Morrell to deliver this one-day workshop which has been designed to develop your practical skills in managing a team beyond the basics.  It creates an understanding of delegation, communication and assertiveness as a basis for lessons on giving feedback and performance counselling.  There is also treatment, via short case studies, of a number of common difficult scenarios, and the day ends with an extremely useful session which deals with development of the delegates' general management skills.

The course is a careful blend of teaching, case studies and small group exercises to bring the subject matter to life.  By the end of the workshop you will understand:

• The differences between leadership and management and the key skills required of each role
• How to develop a high performance team
• How to motivate your team
• How to be an effective communicator in a variety of scenarios

The course has been created for those in or about to take up their first management or supervisory position, but anyone wanting a a refresher to brush up there skills will also find the content, relevant, accessible and highly motivating.
