IOM3 takes home two Highly Commended awards at the 2025 Memcom Excellence Awards
The IOM3 Events team and our Immediate Past President were Highly Commended in their categories.
We’re delighted to share that we received two Highly Commended awards at the Memcom Excellence Awards 2025. These awards recognise outstanding achievement across the membership sector, from strategic leadership and engagement to publications and events.
Earlier this year, we were shortlisted in two categories:

Best President for our Immediate Past President – Dr Kate Thornton CEng CSci FIMMM
Head of Events Melanie Boyce and Senior Event Project Manager Sorcha Donnelly attended the awards ceremony with Kate on 25 September 2025 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, where their work was celebrated alongside peers from across the sector.
It was an excellent shortlist, and we’re so pleased to be Highly Commended among such inspiring organisations and individuals.
This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, volunteers and members. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our community.
