IOM3 announces 2023 award winners

Congratulations to the 2023 Awards & Prizes winners of the Institute.

Representing the highest achieving individuals and groups in the field of materials, minerals, and mining, IOM3 Awards & Prizes raise awareness of engineering and scientific excellence and industry best practice.

Dr Kate Thornton CEng CSci FIMMM, IOM3 President, said ‘Recognising the achievements of members, who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and quality of work in their fields is important to showcase best practice and encourage others'.

'Congratulations to all our 2023 winners – they should all be proud of their remarkable work resulting in these awards. I am very much looking forward to the Awards Presentation later this year - a highlight of the IOM3 calendar. I am particularly looking forward to celebrating their achievements and taking the opportunity to learn more from the winners personally on their career journeys so far.’

The Institute awards, the oldest of which date back to 1874, are prestigious accolades that celebrate individuals and organisations who have made exceptional advancements to the profession.

Winners of this year’s awards have been acknowledged for personal achievement, published work and outstanding contributions. A huge congratulations to all this year’s winners.
