Extended deadline - consultation on tailings management
The Global Tailings Management Institute Technical Committee requests feedback.
The organisation is asking organisations and individuals to submit their experience implementing and/or interacting with the Global Industry Standard on Tailings Management (GISTM) and using the ICMM Conformance Protocols.
They are seeking practical insights into where implementation is working well, where challenges have arisen, and which specific GISTM requirements would benefit from additional guidance, tools, training, or clarification.
Submissions will inform GTMI’s competence and conformance ecosystem, and related guidance products, rather than drive revisions.
The submission deadline has been extended to 30 April 2026. Feedback can be provided here.
