The Bridge will be hosting an industry & academia networking day on 24 June 2025 to bring together academic colleagues from the University of Lincoln with industry collaborators on the topic of "Innovation in Sustainable Advanced Materials and their Associated Manufacturing Processes".

This event will employ a unique "Challenge & Solution" format to swiftly connect industry needs with academic expertise, directly fostering collaborations for research funding bids.

The core objective of the event is to rapidly identify synergistic partnerships capable of developing and implementing cutting-edge sustainable advanced materials and manufacturing technologies.

Through a series of concise 5-minute pitches, industry partners will present key "challenges" they face, followed by academic colleagues showcasing relevant "solutions" and research expertise.

This efficient exchange will be followed by a dedicated brokerage networking session to facilitate deeper discussions and the formation of collaborative teams with a clear focus on securing external research funding, with representatives from Innovate UK on hand to discuss opportunities.
