We have down-selected the following five entrants who will give a lecture of 15 minutes each.

Row row row your boat: A look at the history and materials used in high performance rowing boats
There will be a prize of £100 for the winner on the night, plus an extra £100 from a donor, a prize of £50 for each entrant selected, plus a further £100 to be distributed equally between these entrants. The winner will take part in the regional final later in March (arrangements to be announced) for which there will be a cash prize of £150.
The regional winner will take part in the National competition. First prize is £750 and entry to the World final!
Competitors to be 28 or under on 1 June 2023.
