Laser processing at the MTC

CWMS members are invited to join a visit and talk organised by the Warwickshire Area of IMechE. This is an opportunity to learn about MTC's range of equipment and expertise to support investigation and application of lasers in a wide range of roles such as cutting, drilling and micro-machining, surface engineering and texturing, welding and cladding, marking and additive manufacture.
The visit will start with a tour of MTC's laser workshop followed by a talk on "Laser Processing in Manufacture and Future Trends" by Bethan Smith, who has led the laser processing team at MTC for the last 7 years.
