Join Composites UK and the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington for a collaborative event exploring the challenges and opportunities of deploying composite materials in extreme environments. The event will showcase practical approaches to testing, validation, and performance assurance across a wide range of demanding real-world applications.

Call for speakers: 

Abstract submissions are now invited from industry and research organisations interested in presenting insights, case studies, and recent technical developments.

Suggested topics include:

• Behaviour under extreme temperatures and thermal cycling 
• Exposure to harsh environments and long-term material durability
• Advanced testing, characterisation and measurement techniques for composites applied in harsh environments and temperatures
• Design, qualification and certification for harsh environments
• Sector-specific challenges and lessons learned
